Centurion was started in 1985 by master bat craftsman, Colin Henderson. Centurion quickly gained a reputation in New Zealand as a leading brand for quality, handmade English Willow cricket bats, with recognised popularity among first-class players including New Zealand Black Caps.
Gray-Nicolls
Gray-Nicolls was formed in the 1940's at the merger of two well-known cricket bat manufacturers, H.J. Gray and Sons and L.J. Nicolls. At this time, the company also acquired the famous brands of Shaw and Shrewsbury and Wainwrights.
